FAQ
Straight answers.
If a house is different, the room page says so.
Are the rooms furnished?
Yes. Each listing shows the furniture in that room. You are not buying a bed after you arrive.
Are utilities included?
Most YouMade.space listings bundle the primary household utilities. The room page lists what that house includes.
Is this a shared bedroom?
No. Unless a listing says otherwise, you get a private bedroom and share the common areas.
How long can I stay?
The minimum stay is on every listing. Some rooms start at three months. Others ask for six.
Can I tour the property first?
Where a house can do it, you can ask for an in-person tour or a video tour. Ask when you check availability.
What do I need to move in?
Once you are approved and the agreement is signed, we send the move-in instructions for that house.
Can couples stay in one room?
Only if that listing says so. Each room has an occupancy limit. If it says one person, it is one person.
Where is the house?
The neighborhood is on the listing. The street is sent after you are approved, or when a tour is set.
How is this different from Manmade Space?
Manmade Space is our sister brand. It is a membership: a twin share in a house with a common kitchen, a calendar, and a circle of people you live with. YouMade.space is the room: private, furnished, utilities included, with nothing to join. Same family. Different question.
